VH1's Storytellers was too much for words to even describe...I'm still trying to get my mind right. I don't know if it was the band--cause everyone knows I'm a sucker for live music, or the combination of his flow & lyrics...but whoever was with me the 1st time I saw Jay @ The Garden for the PSAL game in '04 is exactly or moderately close to how I felt when I saw this guys performance...Call me a crybaby lol but the overall show was way too overwhelming. Then on top of that the amount of people I recognized in the crowd got me a little tight, but it's not about them it's about H O V!! A man who's been in the game a little over a decade & is still at his motherfuckin best.

Expect The Unexpected

People may say he's cocky, stuck-up, whatever else, but at the end of the day Kanye's sincerity and humbleness during this crucial time period got him the winning numbers....that's my opinion at least. I don't know what went on behind closed doors but from my POV his reverential attitude (or Def Jam) is what helped him sell that 9 hundred and 50 something thousand albums and still counting. I certainly was one of the people who doubted Mr. West and thought he was gonna fall behind a couple #'s due to 50's past chart-toppers but I guess life is full of surprises, and I clearly can't be mad at that because besides the fact that I think Kanye is 1 of the best, my life in general is one big bombshell. So yea...that's that and it still seems unreal but uhm...Yay for Ye'! He deserves it.

A moment in Hip Hop History...

That I!! Missed out on!! Its about 11.10pm last night and I get a call from Lacingtin--'Ms. Hip Hop Head' herself telling me that Jay,T.I., Diddy, Kanye & 50 cent were all on the same stage at MSG...I almost had a panic attack. Like I don't know if you people understand how important this moment was, but The K I N G S of Hip Hop were all on 1 stage--I don't think there's been a moment like this since the 'Jay-Z & Friends' tour which by the way I was there for that! Front & Center! =). I woke up this morning feeling like I missed out on the biggest moment EVER!--Am I the only person who missed out??. I get to work and of course EVERYONE is speaking about this, get on the elevator and the security people are speaking about it, If the maintenance people come in tonight and say 1 thing about last night I'm gonna have a F I T! LOL Devastated' is my middle name right now!TRUE STORY! Then again, I think about it and I probably would of fainted if I was there. So maybe I'm better off hearing about it then actually witnessing it..maybe not? =/

So! a blog! FINALLY! after months and months of debating I figured why not!? Theres so much shit that I need to get out and this is the PERFECT place! I will admit that there are a couple people who have inspired me to do this so shout outs to those people...DRUMROLL PLEEASEE!! 1st & foremost that dope guy named Curtains? lol I think thats his name, because his blog was one of the first blogs that I started actually reading and found pretty interesting...keeps me entertained..Then we have the other SB, well the OFFICIAL SB* whos such an INTELLECTUAL! point blank i love it...and lastly we have Miss Raps aka English Major...THE BOSS! whos had a blog for awhile and doesn't have 1 entry yet...but when she does start writing I know it will be great! =) Anyways not much to say right now...Im still kind of shocked at the whole Stacks situation...RIP...Didn't know em but it's crazy how 1 minute you're here and the next your not...and its also crazy how all of a sudden that was everyones "right hand man" when I know damn well a majority of ya'll did'nt know em. I respect the fact that ya want em to rest in peace, show love and all that but I just cant get over all the away messages I've seen 'to my homie stacks blah blah, to my nigga stacks blah blah'...Like ugh* whatever maybe I'm just talking a bunch of BS. It just bothers me..but Im sure someone out there gets my drift.
